Undivided

Vaccinated or unvaccinated?  Mask or no mask?  Trump or Biden?  George Floyd, Black Lives Matter, Roe v. Wade, Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Palestine.  As much as we hope our churches can be a refuge from the controversies of culture, the same issues that can divide us as a nation have a way of seeping into our congregations and dividing our churches.  These issues compound additional tensions already within our congregations.  Churches often feel the potential divide over doctrinal issues related to sexuality, the role of women, worship style and leadership structure.  Throw a little gossip in the mix and it’s not surprising so many churches are weakened by these pressures and find themselves divided rather than unified.  How do we navigate the difficult realities found beyond our church walls and within them?  Join us for a discussion on how we can strive for unity within the church in such divisive times.  Most importantly, whether you can attend or not, let us all commit to praying for the Church, that she may live out the desire of our Lord as we seek to be undivided.
